Toggle webcam preview flip
Though useful for webcams, discord also detects capture devices like the HD60(s) and is slightly annoying the preview for the host cannot be unflipped. It's a conscious decision to have made it that way and should be toggleable.

The fact this wasn't even an option from DAY ONE, and furthermore... the fact they have ignored such a simple request for over 2 years... shows how absolutely and utterly STUPID they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my take on this:
Open View > Developer > Toggle Developer tools (yes, also in the stand-alone client)
Select the Console Tab
Enter this code:

no it's not stupid it's usually not needed
except for a few people like me who uses a camera like kinect, this camera has a mirrored image, because this is her job. so it's the problem that's some people need a mirror function. physical or how shall i say the image must mirrored befor streeming.
so we have to use obs to mirror, its not fine but works a bit.this will only mirror your own picture, the peps will see the original image

That's exactly what we want. We want to see the same image we are broadcasting and the others are seeing, not a flipped one.

ah okay haven't really noticed "preview" not sure if its was the same as i have first read this.
but my issue are more seldomhave obs at the moment and not sure if dc implament an imageflip befor stream.
caus other chatprogramms have the same issue withl the kinect0 -
A video mirror option would make my life a lot easier: so that I can see the same image that I am broadcasting.

Just here to chime in that as someone who uses UVC capture devices that having the preview mirrored is pretty annoying, and I would love to have a toggle to unmirror.

This is a 3 year problem now I don't think they are fixing this idk why.

Option to disable flipping of camera preview would be great. Unnerving and distracting. Cheers.
