Letting people choose themselves if they want every update from the "follow" feature in verified servers

I've had trouble convincing admins of the R6 server to send out every update they put in their news announcements channel because theyre afraid of spamming people even though their updates aren't that often(ranging from 1 day between updates and a week). So, instead of that i thought of us being able to choose ourselves instead of relying on admins who feel like theyre going to spam. I assume 90% of those people want the frequent updates right? That is better than us having to nag admins which end up doing nothing about it anyway. And for the option where people don't want updates it could be the servers default amount of updates that the admins send out

This would make use of this incredibly useful feature, instead of having to use twitter webhooks which 50% of the time send tweets that no one cares about, whereas, for instance, in the R6 channel they format the posts and they post relevant information.
