Who Just Left? Who just joined?

I am quite low Tech and started using Discord to game with my kids. It's the best thing EVERRR.

Now, I use it every day. I find that when we are in a channel of 5 or more and busy in game, when the notification goes off, EVERYONE,,,    Me ;-( sounds ignorant by asking Who joined or who left.  COULD we please try a visual prompt like a highlight to the name that came into the channel and another that maybe holds the users name for 30 secs when they leave and maybe slowly fades away, Changeable in settings of course?

DISCORD listens to the community and that's why it is so strong and AMAZING!!

Keep up the great work Devs and consider this because MyMuther said so!!

    There could be Green fireworks near the name when they join or a stop sign when they are exiting. ;-)

    I would go a step further and go for individualized entry/exit ringtones, a quick sound clip for when you enter and exit. Could it be annoying? Yes. But could it be an epic character intro? Even more yes!

    I often find myself wondering who just left a stream, particularly when sharing my screen.

    It doesn't need to be complicated. Just a glowing highlight for newly joined users, or a strike-through for recently-left users, for a couple of seconds.
