Invite Link Labeling/Tracking

this needs to be a thing big time.

This ABSOLUTELY needs to be a thing. I have invite codes I want permanent since they are posted and accidentally deleting them means I need to track down where that code was from and replace it. A simple label on the invite link that the server owner-only can attach to an invite link would help tremendously.

Likewise, would love to have this feature, so we can easier track where people find us.
Because statistics!

How is this not a thing? It would totally help communities know what channels are working in getting the word out!

God, the things I would do for this feature.

This would be great for servers to figure out where their influx comes from, and to prevent raids by deleting the right invites without ruining others. Please make this happen, Discord!

I can suggest that you try the following:
-
Create a unique invite link for each platform where you plan to share it, for example, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc.
-
In the invite settings, you can set a limit to how many times the invite can be used, and you can also set an expiration time.
-
Once someone uses an invite link and joins the server, their name and the date they joined will be recorded in the server's member list.
-
You can also use Discord's audit logs to track changes to the server, such as when new members join or leave the server.
-
To track which invite link a new member used to join the server, you can ask them to let you know where they found the link, or you can create a dedicated channel on your server for each platform where you plan to share the invite link, and ask new members to introduce themselves in the relevant channel.
Overall, while there is no specific feature that allows you to add labels to invite links, you can use a combination of the above methods to track where your new members are coming from.
