I have a similar problem: I run Symless Synergy (https://symless.com/synergy) to share a single keyboard and mouse with several PCs over my LAN and Discord reports that I'm playing Synergy (https://store.steampowered.com/app/17520/Synergy/) on all my servers Despite my steam install being on a completely different drive (C:\Program Files\Synergy vs D:\Steam).

I have the same problem with symless synergy being detected as a game.

This has been reported as an issue for at least 2 years now and Discord appear to have no intention of doing anything about it.

No they do not; I submitted a ticket and was told unless they received a lot of complaints from the community it wouldn't ever be fixed

Discord is recognizing the apps by process names.
For Synergy it detects GUI, that is running in the foreground.
The actual program that allows for mouse&keyboard&else sharing is called synergyd (which stands for synergy deamon). It is running as a background process, independently from GUI.

That gives you two workarounds (I am using the latter):
    - changing the name of synergy.exe, e.g. for synergy_.exe <- this may brake other things like auto update, autostart and windows menu shortcut. But you can do this if you need GUI.
    - closing the synergy after it is setup by using File->Quit.

Second one doesn't work for me. It still picks up synergy and claims I'm playing it.
