Folder Notification Control

I'm part of several groups: some hosting 5-10 people, and others hosting over 300+ people. Initially, I would go through each individual group and customize the notifications for those 300+ sized groups to "mute" and "direct mentions only". Every now and again, I'll suddenly hear the notification sound go off continuously (as if receiving multiple messages at once). I'd love if there were a way to control the notification settings for Folders so anything within that folder has "x" specific settings.
