Linux Integreation for overlay

Im sure this is just beating a dead horse at this point. But please, can we get an ingame overlay for linux? The sole reason I use discord for any other chat service is the ingame overlay letting me chat, and voice com with friends while i'm in game. With the growth of proton, and the ability to play most games on linux these days thanks to steam, Its only reasonable to have support for ingame overlays on linux. We already have people making third party versions like Discover-Overlay so why not an official one? Im sure its not as simple as one would like to be to make, but its been a sometime now that discord has been available on linux it that should be available by now.
