Option not to ping someone when quoting them
I'd just really like it not to ping people by default when you quote them, removing it on mobile is irritating and a lot of people don't do it, so there's a lot of unneeded pinging. Nothing major, would just be a nice QOL change that I would like to see :)

Not pinging people while quoting would actually confuse the replies of users.
In a group(more than 2+ people) or in a server where so many people texts constantly travel in between. If you want to quote any of those user's messages while not mentioning that whom you're replying to would actually make other users a bit confused like: What did you say? What are you talking about?
A ping with a quote actually shows that which person's text are you replying to. That would make other users see that you're replying to THAT person. But no ping would show no sign of mention. That is why, I think ping is necessary in Discord... unlike other platforms.

All you'd need to do is remove the @ sign. Keep the username and #, that's really all you need. Have you ever been apart of a quote WALL? You're going to easily get pinged multiple times a second in big discords. I heavily dislike this feature and find it extremely annoying. If I could disable being quoted I would.1
