Make autoplaying gifs separate from reduced motion setting

In the future is it possible to have reduced motion on but still automatically play GIF emojis, or just GIFs in general without having to hover over them? I would love to use reduced motion in an effort to make Discord use less computer resources but I would still like to see GIFs play automatically.
