Accessing Old Dm's via Messages

I was looking through the post to see if those were considered to what I was wondering but I was thinking of more like, if we could type in the search box of discord to search our old dm's by that. I'm trying to find my old friend to see how theyre doing but its hard if they changed their username and i closed their dm so yeah
