Idea to better differentiate recent notification sounds with past unseen notifications.
In case title didn't make sense allow me to elaborate .
I'm in a lot of servers and quite a few of them notify me via sound of a recent message but when I go into discord to try and see which one I can never be sure because I don't keep track of old recently notified servers or channels.
Currently You seem to get a number with a red background for unread posts or a simple white/grayed out look on channels and servers for read/unread.
What I would like to see implemented is a heatmap via color indication of recently posted vs old decaying channels.
Example Server 1 With Channels A,B,C,D.
A had the most recent notification so instead of being "White" it is Red Hot.
B, Had the second most recent notification and it has been 8 hours since the last post so its decayed from Red hot to a pretty cool blue but not yet ice cold blue.
D hasn't seen an update in days and I have never bothered to check it out so it is Ice Cold blue.
Server 2 Hasn't seen any notifications for days and it also gets an Ice Cold Blue next to to indicate that although I never did check on the notifications from it has also been a while since the last notification has been sent.
This would help me personally know which servers to look at when I hear a new notifications.
Perhaps there is already a solution to what I'm mention but I don't realize it yet if so I think what I'm proposing will make sense to most people more readily.
