Help! Text not deleting after message being sent on mobile

Hi, for some reason my Discord mobile app (Android) has decided to not clear the text box after sending a message. Has never happened before and isn't bugging on my computer app, just from the phone. Suggestions? It's getting real old real fast having to delete every word I write. Thanks!!

    Thanks!! Tried it, also restarted the whole phone but to no avail ): fingers crossed the bug report yields results

    I'm also getting this issue and it's bloody irritating. It also doesn't clear the photo after I've sent it. It's making mobile discord unusable as I send a lotta text messages and I type real fast, it's just painful.

     

    Tried reinstalling, restarting, nothing.

    Ugh thank god its not just me, I thought I spilled something on it 😂 I've also trying reinstalling it and nothings worked, this is just recent right?

    Right, I'm not sure this is an answer because I'm having a look into it but there's a discord server called Discord Testers that you apparantly report bugs to, maybe if we join it or something we can explain the situation?

    Logging out and back in seemed to work for me instead of restarting !!

    I kept having the problem happen again after logging in and out, but I think I found the problem. Auto image compression. turning it back off fixed the bug as well, Which makes sense as at least for me when logging out and back in, it returns to the default of no compression.

    What Masterzegan said worked for me. I turned on the Auto image compression not long ago then starting having the issue everyone else is having a few days ago. I turned off auto image compression, closed the mobile app, opened it back up, and the issue was fixed!

    Just a little annoying I cannot have the audio image compression on. I always got annoyed by having to check compress images when sending large or multiple images to friends on mobile.

    Yup it's been happening to me too, really annoying as I type fast and now I send the message multiple times by accident lol

    Turning off auto image compression works BUT now I can't upload pictures I take. I even have nitro. I tested turning the setting off and on and it's either the text field doesn't clear when auto compress is enabled or I turn it off and can't upload. Discord please fix this!
