Change/option to change visuals of status bubbles

I've noticed that the Online/Idle/Do Not Disturb/Invisible status bubbles often cover up parts of people's avatars, so what I propose is either that these bubbles are changed to not be overlapping the avatar (shifted slightly over/downward), or that there's an option to change how these statuses look (ex: an option to change them from bubbles in the corner of the avatar to thin colored rings that encircle the avatar, or a small rectangular text box below the avatar, idk).
