Wave/Invite Function for Voice Channels

Discord's voice channel system is already one of the best with the most features, and I use it frequently to chat with friends. I would like to see a feature where you can invite your friends into the voice channel, similar to the wave function in Houseparty. I understand there is a way to get an invite link to a voice channel, but a wave feature would make inviting friends even easier.

    You could ping them and tell em to get into the vc. Honestly the wave function wouldn't be much different than that, and I feel like it's a ton of extra effort for something with minimal, if any benefits
