The new reply function honestly makes it so that I can't quote/reply to people anymore
Since the reply feature rolled out to a couple servers I'm on we've had to start retyping messages instead of quoting them. It's honestly impossible to read for multiple members of the servers I am a mod in, and since it doesn't show the whole message that means that there are odd breaks in chat while people try to find the original chat, esp if it had a picture or link.
Could there be a way to turn it off on servers and in DMs for people who cannot use this due to accessibility issues of not being able to read it, and so that people who want to be able to quote full messages are able to do that.

100% agreed. It's very small and extremely difficult to read and it looks ugly.

I completely agree as a person with a vision impairment it is making discord a real pain to use. I never had any accessibility issues with discord prior to this and now I am struggling to follow conversations.

I agree completely, but I think that the quote feature should be added back and the reply feature should stay, as I like both of the new features and enjoy conversations a lot more with replying, but quoting is nice if you want to quote a singular message without typing on it or quote multiple things at once.

I have a very, VERY slight visual impairment, yet the replies look like a complete illegible mess to me. I've never really had this with anything before, until Discord introduced replies.
I've resorted to manually quoting posts by using > and copy-pasting peoples' messages but that's a bit of a roundabout way to let people know what exactly I'm replying to. I agree with the poster above; having both a reply and quote features to choose from would be great.
