Channel Description formatting

Is there a way to put paragraphs and enumerations into the channel description?

I formatted it in the editor they I want/need it, but the actual display doesn't contain the set paragraphs (pictures below for reference)

Is there a way to format it correctly?

If not, that's a feature I like to see in a future update
