YouTube thumbnail system broken for years

Hey all, so probably literally none of you have heard of this issue I've been having and the staff don't seem to know either, so I'll just post it here.

The thumbnails on YouTube videos have been broken for 3, yes 3 years.

It'll only show half of them on a message. Literally only Chrome does this, mobile and firefox show them regularly.

I normally hate giving out screenshots like these but I have no choice here.
