Nah ur just a windows user who downloads too many apps. It's something else. The source code is available on Github so you can see for yourself that it is safe. It is against discord ToS I believe so you shouldn't use it.

I'm pretty sure that Virustotal just gave you a false positive.

This is straight misinformation as you downloaded an unofficial version of BetterDiscord, but it's from GitHub so it's open-source, you definitely have some suspicious tasks running on your Windows host in the background no one is responsible for but only you, so it's your problem. But, using BetterDiscord may be against the Terms of Service and other community guidelines as using it is at your own risk. Or you faked it maybe and put some random batch to an executable file into it to look like a miner and make an excuse, thus blaming the developer who is not responsible for where you downloaded the files from. Also, this is not a place where you should discuss about this topic. So, don't blame the innocent developer, but yourself.

you've either downloaded an unofficial version of BD or you're just faking it as others mentioned

FYI: It's not a BTC miner, the pool is support xmr which is for mining XMR(Monero), and as far as I know, we have only 2 XMR miners which you can't change their exe(s) name, XMRig and Csminer.
