Hey Discord Staff/Devs,

I was wanting to suggest a feature for people using PCs to be able to see what PC someone is using discord from, and possibly have an option to disable that for those who don't want people knowing they are on a mac or windows or linux machine. There are 2 reasons I'm suggesting this, 1 I commonly tell my friends if I'm on my mac I tend to either be doing school work or watching YouTube, and 2 we can see if someone is on their phone, why not see if they are on their gaming PC or if they are just on their mac (although I can see this appling to not too many people I think this would be a nice feature to have if it is not too difficult to implement)

    I can understand the need of seeing if someone is on Mobile or Desktop, but I don't see any need to see what OS someone is on. This would just be useless, and bring more issues than what it solves (eg someone being made fun of because they use windows and not mac)

    Solution: Keep it off by default but enable an option to turn it on.

    2
