Please don't steal focus during launch!

When I launch Discord on my PC, it takes some time to actually reach the full Discord window (30 seconds or so).  During this time, a number of mini-windows pop-up (the updater, etc).  Each of these, including the final Discord window, steal focus from whatever other applications I'm trying to use at the time, interrupting my work while I wait for Discord to figure out what it's doing.

This is both incredibly annoying and completely unnecessary.  Please stop it.

    I did a web search to see if there are solutions to this and found complaints going back years.

    I don't mind Discord taking a bit long to start up, but I too wish it would behave itself like a gentleman while doing so.
