Make it easier to type text faces ":pp" and "^____^"

The text face `:pp` is incredibly difficult to type because of the over-eager emoji search — it absolutely insists that I mean the emoji/react ":apple:", and it will select that for me if I press Enter. It takes a lot of careful maneuvering to send a message with just this face. As of right now, I can't even prevent this by pressing escape to close the emoji selection panel, AND I can't press shift-enter to escape the modal either and keep typing without converting it into some emoji.

There is a similar problem with `^_____^`, where it tries to compress all the underscores into a single italicized underscore. Same with `>_______>`. I have to work around these ones by putting them in code tags.

And I send these faces a _lot_.
