Show/Hide SideBar for Servers

Wouldn't it be a nice feature to be able to toggle the Server sidebar on/off? not directly a option feature but more like a arrow kind of thing you click on to slide it left or right depending on usage, Discord already is so perfect so this idea is more like a quality of life feature, but would love to see anything like this being implemented in a future update, wouldn't you?

 

let me know what you all think about this idea? :)

    Hello Fendoran,

    If you use Discord on Chrome, there's currently a Chrome extension that does that: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hide-discord-sidebar/kaaohmdnmbdagpnenakakpkinddjmenp (Disclaimer: I made this extension). I am waiting for the day that the extension becomes obsolete though! Cause that would mean that the desktop app and other browsers running Discord will have that feature. Hope to hear from the developers in this thread!

    Thank you for replying, although this is what I was asking for, i was asking for it in the app itself, if i were using discord in the browser, this would be perfect! :)

    It would be nice indeed, if it were possible. Sadly discord crashes if you try to do it manually.
