Chat text box defaulting to absolute left side

It doesn't do this on mobile or if you type it extremely slowly.

Essentially, it resets where the cursor is in the middle of typing the message. Usually this means the first few letters get moved to the end.

Incredibly annoying, pls fix this :,(
