Nicknames

It would be very nice if I were able to have my own nicknames for friends because I have a couple of friends that have the exact same user number but have similar usernames in that they are one letter off. It is basically impossible to tell the two apart, so I thought it would be a useful feature to be able to have a nickname system like Steam.
