I checked my phone's activity through a lesser known service code *#*#4636#*#*. When I use this code it gives me information otherwise inaccessible to me. I see numerous programs and a lot of activity coming from my phone, or perhaps through my phone that I in no way was responsible for. If you look at the permissions we allow when we install many programs, Facebook for example, we allow them to change passwords on accounts, make phone calls under the guise of our ip and most anything else they want to do. I believe that when these permissions are utilized there must be some kind of reference for whatever it has done. In order to reconcile whatever they have done using your phone and your phone's logs they have to put something. That date seems to be used probably because 1. It somewhat effectively buries what has transpired by dating it back 50+ years ago. So, if you were to run a search on activity on your phone/computer for that day, it wouldn't show up. Does anyone out there have anything to contribute to my theory?
