Nitro DM Protection

Please allow Nitro users to opt into auto- blocking any messages from users that fail to stay in a mutual server. There are public servers that focus on providing high value to their users, and malicious advertisers come in, send mass direct messages to the server's users, then get kicked out of the server but their ad DM was still sent to people and there is no way of tracking what server the DM dummy account was received from. Furthermore, users that own a server should be allowed to only enable users that have an assigned role to DM other members in their server to prevent these potentially bot-able mass ads (they typically request people to join their channel then leave which is literally just unwanted solicitations). Please empower users to stop these bots from bypassing the channel messaging rules by allowing at least Nitro users (if not all users) to only receive messages from users that have been assigned a role from their mutual servers. Thank you for your time and consideration. Much love from a long time early adopter of Discord for gaming before it evolved to its current popularity.

The idea is not bad. I would tune the Idea a bit.

An Option for the server admin/mods to mark an user as bot/scammer. User could add that server as "user filter" option for sending message.

Hey,

You can disable private messages on the server that you want to avoid having DM bot messages or messages from people who advertise. (Your friends can always send DM)
