Compact mode is unreadable

Compact mode is unreadable. if you look at it for more than 15 seconds you cant discern who's who anymore, 

We'll repeat it again, what killed skype and others things were their constant change of UI when it was working and pleasing the users already, so stop doing the same exact error or people will change to another instant dm software as soon as another promising one will appear.
