chat layout: hi can we revert back to the old layout please

like with a button or something idk??? look imma explain

1. no one wants to be distracted by red at the center and then break the flow of reading with eyes going right and noticing NEW! in small letters? so its hard to tell what that is? then have to take the mental effort to go back all the way to the left to read the new message

2. removing the lines between what each person has said makes your eyes super lost when tracing words to their owners and thats not something i want to put effort into when im just. chatting. is it small? yes but its also part of the ux's job to support leniency on the user like this???

3. im pretty sure yall just made compact mode like Super Compact and there /are/ spacings yes but with the two changes above its not enough to warrant using it anymore? like if you wanted this Compactness :tm: can yall like make an inbetween compact so we can all enjoy compact minimalisms to varying degrees?

without the lines it looks like someone's just upscaled a mobile app to a desktop screen with no real thought on how they've done it, i get more lost then when i went to london without a map

the grouping is really off compared to how it used to be when it's written by the same person too, the distance makes it look like an hour gap took place between the two messages

i just want my old compact back :(
