New Discord Update: Yes it's that bad

I put a similar post in the Other's Feedback section but I guess this is the more appropriate place:

Please please please go back. I like most Discord updates but this one just makes me want to stop using the app all together. The separating lines between the individuals messages really makes a difference in terms of organizing the page; it was good before now it just all looks like a blob of words. Also, the way the individual messages are highlighted when you hover over them is a very overwhelming experience bUT ON TOP OF THAT there's now the reactions that automatically come up on the hover as well. Too much. If the update won't revert, please give us the option to use an older version of the update or make it a preference thing that one can change in appearance and settings.

I was literally just thinking about this. It's too weirdly compact and it bugs my eyes. I hope this gets reversed. I don't mind the update to the options per message in chat but like you mentioned, its a weird blob
