New UI is not epic

Listen, I know you think it's cool to keep iterating on the design, but it doesn't need changing you've hit it right on the nail with how it was just before this latest update.

My biggest problem with the new UI is that you've removed the line that used to separate user's messages from another user in compact mode. 
This has made the reading experience tedious and hard on the eyes as the names just get lost in the wall of text especially if the messages are more than one line.

Another problem is the quick reactions can get in the way, it's a small thing but a noticeable one.

Highlighting the background is fine I guess, I don't see why it's needed though as I don't really need to know which message I have my mouse over because it's already easy enough to see that since you know, you just put your mouse on top of the message text and that's how you tell you're hover over the message.

If you are to go forward with this design my only request is that you bring back the separate users with a line. However I do suggest reverting it back which I know is not favorable, but maybe give it another crack and see if you get it right in the future.

Final Words:
If it's not broke, don't fix it.
I think you could wrap this update up in one word: pointless, I would rather the Discord team work on some new innovative feature than changing the way my chat looks.
