Revert the highlighting of messages and changes to the reaction panel

These changes to the UI are noisy and distracting. I believe these things were better before.

  These changes create additional visual noise, especially as you're scrolling through messages. Additionally, depending on the emojis it presents, the drastic color pop can be a little jarring. If these changes are not reverted/changed to an "on message select" menu, desaturating the emojis until moused over would help.

  i do like the reaction floatover box. it is a much more comfortable and efficient way to react and pin messages and mark unread and all that, instead of scrolling thru an ugly right-click menu.

  
  BUT i don't like that highlight. it's very distracting.

  Also, the spacing between messages (that's the part i hate the most), and the lowness that the messages reach to on the bottom of the screen, make the UI more clunky looking.

  Please revert those, and consider making the reaction box less intrusive (see the FB Messenger reactions menu, and how it's a semi-transparent, grey image of an emoji to reference reactions that will pop up upon clicking that unobtrusive icon).
