the new UI is startling

I don't want to pile on, but I just wanted to let you know that I find the new UI startling, because large bright emojis pop up every time I move my mouse over the app.

This makes it difficult to retain my train of thought, and I've forgotten several things I meant to type in Discord since the change because of it.

I appreciate the idea and all, it just doesn't work for me in the least as it's been implemented.

Perhaps adding a more granular menu of accessibility options would help?

Then the people who can't or would rather not use a feature can turn it off, and it would be easier to make more of your users happy, not to mention increasing accessibility for your users who have disabilities that leave them negatively impacted by these various changes and other features of your otherwise rather usable product.
