please fix the ui for compact mode

ive never posted here before but this is bad enough that i feel i must.

as i'm sure many other people have said, the new ui is incredibly hard to look at. the lack of lines between new people speaking (even WITH adding extra space between message groups) makes it very hard to look at and distinguish between where one message starts and another ends, especially if they have a reaction.

i can't speak for cozy mode since i never use it, but as it is right now, compact mode is looking worse than ever. i wish i could roll back this update so bad
