the february 2020 update

as of today (2/15/20) i was forced to update my discord because i needed to restart my computer. i was actively avoiding doing anything that might update my discord, since i'd seen what it looked like and did not like it at all, and now that i do have it, i hate it still.
it is not pleasing to look at, it is not good functionally, and overall looks like a cheap first test for a chat app, not an update.
the weird reaction bar with emojis and the three dots is so incredibly clunky and unsubtle, far worse than how it was before. the dividers being gone is horrendous as well.
there was a reason we had compact mode and cozy mode. you cannot mix them. please, please, please revert these changes. nobody likes them.

From what I've seen, or in this case not seen or heard, Discord is just riding out the backlash from the Feb update. Over time all of us have grown more silent and just hoping that something gets done about it to revert the changes that were made. I am both sad and angry that I don't think they are listening.
