Deleting my own messages from a dm

I was wondering if I will ever be able to mass delete my own messages I have sent to someone. I broke up with someone and being the rather paranoid person I am I don't want him to have any record of what I have said in our dms. I feel like this is a very simple request, I know I am able to delete messages one by one but I have thousands of messages I have sent to my ex and I'd really like to just press a button and have them all deleted.
