Hard to use UI

Okay so I tried to explain this a while back and received a lot of (unmoderated?) backlash. I understand some people like the ui as is and of course I in no way expect the developers to rewrite the app, I just ask that there be an alternative, more familiar ui for people that find discord hard to use. I think i have a good example now, so I will share that

    A more familiar chat interface, messages are in chronological order, and you get a preview of what is there so you know what you're about to step into

    I find the new mobile UI triggering. I don't have a consistent reference frame anymore because the whole feed moves on me. Queezy. Furthermore: the side panels now conflict with one another spatially. It hurts.

    I've long hated the UI. It's impossible to sort out all the different messages received, and DMS and servers are just a big mess on the left. Can't separate the chats into windows, or pop them out. I can't follow all these conversations everywhere. Multitasking is impossible.

    This is the server view, or what your screen looks like when you are chatting in a discord server. The top left is unopened DMs. Under that (there's a little line that i accidentally covered) is your server list. Servers you have joined appear there. To get to your DMs, click the discord icon at the top left, under the word discord.

    DM view:

    the messages on the right look just like in a server, but with a single person. The list of usernames and icons is the list of people you have messaged, or have messaged you. It isn't in the order that they messaged you, but in the order that you messaged them (with an exception). People who message you will show up first no matter what, with a red ping icon. under those people, it is people you messaged last.
