Discord Nitro Classic for Verified Bot Developers
Ever since the bot verification came out it has really been quite awesome for people who have worked very hard and get their work recognized on their profile. It is known that Discord Partners get Nitro Games for the life of their account. It seems fitting to me that Verified Bot Developers (With bots in at least 1000 servers) receive Discord Nitro Classic. Still providing the opportunity to support discord with Nitro Games but also recognizing their efforts, not only reaching 100 servers but 1000. It seems right that there should be a difference from developers of bots in 100 and those of bots in 1000 servers.

This is a good idea! They should have the ability for the bot dev to give team as well as themself

10/10

This is a great idea. Bot devs put in a lot of work, and getting your bot to 1000 servers is a huge achievement. I agree that bot devs should be able to get a small premium feature as a reward for their outstanding work in making things easier and more fun on discord.

I think it is a good idea, maybe not even nitro classic, maybe just the badge itself could give you 1 or 2 perks like higher upload size and global emojis. Even that would be enough. Great idea overall!

I agree with Specifically Nitro Classic,
This actually is a reasonable request. The Bots we Bot developers program anyways have nitro classic (in the sense they can Emote any emote from guilds they are in even if it is a gif)
Granting Discord Nitro perks to Those who spend their time and money and effort into developing on the platform to the select few who have the badge and own a bot does sound extremely reasonable5 -
This definitely is not a good idea. Discord gets some of their income from users purchasing Nitro, partners get the free nitro because they are Partners and they are promoting Discord. Bot developers aren't really helping Discord grow that much as the bots they make are inside of Discord. Sure developers can grow bots into large amounts of servers but that doesn't mean anything to Discord, honestly they don't really care.
It might be cool for developers to get something in return for having a bot in x amount of servers, but a badge is all y'all gonna get. I guess they could add some features to having a bot in x amount of servers, but definitely not because the "developer is verified". If they were going to add something as a reward, it would be the badge and not free nitro to developers or anything else.
Sure developers with bots in over X amount of servers than the smaller Y should get a reward, why not? But its not really that practical for Discord and again doesn't really mean anything.

@DieselJS not true. This is a great idea. Bot devs put in a lot of work, and getting your bot to 1000 servers is a huge achievement. I agree that bot devs should be able to get a small premium feature as a reward for their outstanding work in making things easier and more fun on discord. 10/10 in my opinion and I agree with everyone except Diesel. Read this Discord!

100% True @OBS OBS. I think Bot Developers should get Discord Nitro Classic. 10/10 Sold. @Discord Discord Read this amazing Idea!

@bruhhhhhhhh Nope. It is an idea that Discord won't add. Watch. Also, just because a bot is in 1000 servers doesn't make it good, or means that the devs put in a lot of time or work. I do believe that adding a small premium feature would be nice but it wouldn't happen.

@DieselJS I reject your reality and substitute my own.

None of you actually understand how low the chances of Discord actually doing something as stupid as this.
-1 -
Personally, I agree with what @Khaled said. Developers are never going to get free nitro, but something like a couple of extra perks would definitely be nice. Not nitro, never nitro.

Agreed.

Granted! Lemme give you a look into the future: *uses magical ball*
3-4 Months into the future: everyone has the Developer badge through either copying bots or having their friends add them to Teams without even remotely being involved in its development, nor even knowing how a bot works. Discord decides to give every single user with that badge, no matter their involvement in the development to any bot, a free subscription to Nitro Classic. Suddenly, Nitro is just worthless, everyone gets Nitro for free. Discord may has to fight with money shortages because of that.Decide: Do you either want Nitro to be worthless or not?

@Hope finally someone with common sense.

To add, there is no way for Discord to verify actual development of the bot, and as @Hope said, Nitro would become worthless due to abuse. It is a nice idea, but stupid at the same time if you think about the consequences. Just because a bot is in a few servers doesn't mean it has had lots of time and effort put into it. The badge is all you're going to get, be thankful Discord even added the badges, to be honest.

Well well well. You see this lovely future conjured from the magical ball has seemed to become invalid as they have discontinued the granting of the verified developer badge. I think this only increases the chances of an epic perk. You see, Discord has a brain too, they wish for a badge to keep its worth just the same as any perk. Now we wait....

DieselJS i agree, discord should put up something like tests and stuff, to prevent it at some extent, but as we all know internet exists and it is easy to find answer to any problem on the internet
