Video Call Reconnecting Loop
Hey,
Whenever I try to have a video call, or turn on my camera or start sharing my screen, be it one to one call, or server stream, it starts abruptly closes and begins reconnecting, and it doesn't allow me to turn my video on or share my screen. I'm using the desktop app, on Windows 10, 64-bit.
Looking forward to any help...
Regards.

This happens to me due to the libopenh264 shipped with Discord on macOS requiring SSE 4.2 and SSSE 3 now. The reset-loop could be fixed by replacing this library with an older version (e.g. the one from Cisco on GitHub), though video calls still don't work after that. At least voice calls do and the reset loop is avoided.

I don't know if it's the same problem for you, but I used the library from Cisco here: https://github.com/cisco/openh264/releases The location of the problematic one depends on your operating system. You will have to find
modules/discord_voice/ libopenh264.4.dylib and replace it. 0 -
I have a macbook pro so ill try with that and find the carpet

I also have a MacBook Pro (Late 2008), and the library is located at ~/Library/Application\ Support/discord/0.0.257/modules/discord_voice/libopenh264.4.dylib
