Making text/voice channels private

I’d really like a feature where you can make an already non-private text/voice channel to a private one.

  This is already possible. A private channel is just a channel on which @everyone does not have the 'Read messages' permission.

  All you have to do is go to the channel settings, click on Permissions, and disallow 'Read messages' for @everyone. The channel will get the lock on it that indicates a private channel too.

  Oh wow, okay! Searched this up a a while ago and found a thread where it said that it wasn’t possible. Thanks alot!
