Sound channels for broadcasts
This is a suggestion to provide the ability to broadcast the sound output of a particular program, in a buffered, verbatim sound channel.
The sound output of a particular program allows e.g. using VLC to stream music, an obvious application. More importantly, and unlike other bots already available, doing so allows broadcasting of sound that is not already in Youtube, or in a common format such as mp3 or aac, or even recorded (because the broadcast is live).
The buffered channel is necessary for this because, without buffering, any glitch in internet connectivity introduces glitches in the sound (e.g. music). Similarly, the channel has to be verbatim, because if the response to glitches is e.g. time stretching, the music sounds horrible.
This channel can be unidirectional because the purpose is that one person broadcasts, and the others listen. If the people want to talk in addition to that, they can do so in their own separate voice channel, with little latency and voice glitch fixes enabled. Of course this means the unidirectional channel should be mixable with other voice channels.
