[Request] Display Audio File Metadata

I always thought that, when sharing audio files on Discord, the player can be a little bit ... lacking.

That's why I would love to propose this idea.

Now, instead of seeing the file name with a scroll bar and a download sign, now a few more details such as album cover, song title, artist, and possibly more can be shown. This feature could definitely be useful for knowing more information about what song it is and, in my opinion, it generally looks nicer. This can only work if the shared audio file already has embedded metadata and album cover. For this idea, I have created a (very poorly photoshopped) concept of how this new audio player would look like:

Right now, it is ok. It does its function and it does it well. However, if the file contains metadata that tells us more about the audio within it, I believe it would be a good thing to display it to whoever is viewing it.

Here is my concept.

New Audio Player

Excuse my Photoshop skills, but as you can see there is a whole lot of new information presented to the viewer. Information such as song name, song artist, and the album cover is presented. Of course, there is also the original file name there too. I tried to design this with the concept that I had within my mind but if you have any improvements please comment.
