Create private channel and invite guests

Hi all,

I'd like to understand if Discord can offer the following:

1. Create a private channel

2. Create an invite link

3. Send the invite link to guests without even having a Discord account

4. When guest presses the link, they are added to the private channel only, and cannot see any other channel

 

It seems the private channels in Discord are made for roles. And I don't think my use case is possible the way Discord is set up, but still wanted to know if perhaps there is a way.

I'd really appreciate if someone can help me and tell me more!

  Being able to invite to private channels seriously needs to be a thing!  Some of us want to create a private discord and only provide access via an invite.  This also allows for a channel to assign roles from so the general membership doesn't even see this channel and get constantly pinged or have to mute.  Make this a thing please!
