Hovering over a message doesn't display options anymore

When i updated discord and was in a conversation, i made a typo and was about to edit it until i noticed that i couldnt unless i awkwardly right clicked. Before the update if you hovered your mouse hand over a message it would turn dimmer and give you options to react, reply and 3 dots for more options, now it doesnt work, then later when i enabled threads on a server i owned, it worked again, weird glitch that makes it so you cant get message options until you enable threads on pc, windows version btw
