Alternate triggers for slash commands

Slash commands are nice, but what if you want to have multiple bots on your server that respond to different triggers? Say, one bot might respond to commands that begin with a slash, while another might want to respond to commands that begin with an exclamation mark. It would be really cool if we could configure the trigger character for these commands.

  Plus, a lot of legacy bots use other triggers besides a slash, and teaching users to use slashes going forward could be a pain...

  exactly! with carl, i'm always typing "!purge all", and if the prefix changes, it's gonna take me ages to get used to it.

  Discord has already outright denied custom prefixes with application commands. They did this during their developer Q&A a bit ago.
