Passcode enterable only text channels (for victims of abuse)

That isn't really Discord's problem to solve, and only moves the problem somewhere else

A pass code on anything is a matter of memory, of which an abuser could get them to share

Why can they not have their own lockscreen pass code? Because the abuser got them to give it to them, or change it
    Same thing would happen here

Because the victim can be in many discord servers, that of which the abuser would have to go through them all, and a passcode text channel isn't vital to the phone or discord user therefore when questioned about it by the abuser the victim can say they don't anything about the channel. The victim can't say that about their phone lockcode. The passcode text channel would be in my populated discord server, and the passcode text channel would have a name that wouldn't seem suspicious like "staff only". So no the same thing wouldn't happen here.

I'm sorry your friend is experiencing abuse and I hope she can reach out to somebody and get the help she needs to leave him.

Unfortunately I don't think it's a feasible feature Discord would add. It's a lot of work to add a niche feature which not many people would use, since setting permissions is simpler than having a passcode for a channel.

Maybe she could make an arrangement where she's locked out of said text channel unless she's actively discussing it and he can't see it? If she has a routine you could even set up a bot to give/take a role from her automatically at a certain time/date.

@memedealer. Thank you! That's a really good idea. I'm going to do that :)
