im forced to verify by phone number and i cant get into my account

i was enjoying my night with my friends when all of a sudden it says "somethings out of the ordinary, you need to verify by phone"
and its very frustrating when i myself do not have a phone number or a cell phone
its annoying how i have to keep making alternative accounts because
discord wont let me verify any other way, its not fair to people
who pay for internet but don't have a cell phone plan, please
make it so I can verify using a different method (e-mail), 2FA, anything but a paid phone number, so that we can use the service freely
