Screen Reader Incorrectly Detected

I received a pop-up today asking me to allow Discord to collect data on how I'm using the screen reader it detected, but I'm not using and have never used a screen reader. Quite the opposite, I have difficulty processing auditory information. I declined, which is fine, but I think there may be an underlying problem here with potential to be a serious issue - if Discord is gathering data from non-screen-reader-users and using that to decide how to make screen reader compatibility work for those who actually need it that's not good.

Perhaps an 'I'm not using a screen reader' option on that popup would allow troubleshooting of the problem and avoid people who aren't using screen readers saying 'yes' due to autopilot or apathy and skewing the data?
