Read receipts should be available for groups

There are people who watch from groups what people are talking and posting and do hate and curses WATCHING acting like they not there because they hate their life and the others better than them, we need to know who to kick, thats stalking it is illegal, should be like in kikapp 'read by 12' for example when 10 ppl are talking, usually they monsters being in groups and watch from behind as pervs and haters swearing and cursing, we need to know who to kick because they will never admit it

    the assumption that shy people must hate you aside — the "read by" lists attach user info (including yours) to every single "read" post, and you're saying that it'd help you to better preserve your privacy? that doesn't make sense.

    I.m saying other apps have it, and you don't know who's shy and who's a hater, and is not only haters  there are pervs as well and u can't check it out, but never mind i don't care, it also not about privacy i have nothing to hide and zero blocked persons

    Read receipts are always intrusive for most people because sometimes people will read something and not know exactly how to reply and will end up feeling pressured to reply once they notice that the person on the other end can see they've already looked at the message. It's almost always turned off on apps like iMessage for that reason, pretty sure the amount of people who want this are a minority
