The vast majority of people are accepting of crypto, and given what the government is intending to do with fiat (in the US at least, hyper-inflation is coming soon), people are jumping the fiat ship to tread to the safety of the crypto yacht.

This attack is coming from reddit btw. They're upset because they can't comprehend (or are too lazy to research) NFTs or crypto in general, and think it's just an "energy waste" (while they probably keep their lights on while they're asleep, or use the A/C when it's unnecessary so they can remain comfortable, or they support wind farms which kill endangered birds and cause noise pollution).

If you implement NFTs, I assure you there are numerous independent devs, content creators, and community organizers who will take advantage of it for the betterment of all.

Personally, I've begun developing a discord bot, and I'm thrilled by your amazing API. I'm confident your NFT implementation will be equally amazing.

P.S. Don't worry about the idle threats of cancelling nitro. I guarantee the majority of them never had nitro in the first place, and those who have it won't stop buying it. On the other hand, I've been boosting multiple servers and regularly give $10 nitro to friends. I won't stop, and I'll probably even accelerate my purchases after the NFT implementation.

Incorrect, seems you're in the echo chamber. People are rallying from many different platforms, not just lil old reddit where you seem to get all your information. The sentiment is wide across the gaming community, that's why it's picking up pace so easily.

Someone "keeping the lights on while they sleep" is nowhere near the equivalent of the creation of a single NFT signature, and your other examples have been disproven ages ago. Do better research.

And what is this "betterment of all" who are you benefitting? Artists? They don't want NFTs sinking money, they want commissions. Maybe criminals? It's excellent for money-laundering, almost like it was made for it. Personally, I won't support a platform that doesn't care about the environment. In this current climate, it is not a good look for anybody, not even you.
