Make feedback less difficult to find
Hi ticket eaters.
I had a suggestion for a new feature, but had great difficulty submitting it.
[1] The feedback.discord.com page does not show that it is, in fact a feedback page. It shows the support ticket categories. New features are not support. New features are not exactly feedback either. Make a dedicated page, give it a meaningful title and display the most recent / popular N proposals so that I have no doubt I am in the right place. (it's called 'conception of task' and I used to teach usability)
[2] Permit searching within a 'new feature' category. Searching support tickets only makes me less certain that feature proposals are a category, or that they are treated like proposals.
[3] Make the structure of the 'new feature' backlog and process explicit. I don't want my proposal buried in the queue of an overloaded and ignorant support ticket eater (not that you have any :)). I want a premium service! I want feature proposals to be treated with an extra degree of care and appreciation. There are no hints or structural elements that would indicate a proposal will be treated with any respect, that it will follow a constructive, good-faith process. Give a summary of how many new proposals are [received|documented|shortlisted|in development|delivered-this-month]. Tell me what position my proposal is at, in the queue.
[4] Why is 'new feature' not a topic? this would strengthen the proposals above.
I have more suggestions, but you'll need to start with these.
Best wishes, Ian
